These Vendor Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between Food Korabuy (“Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”) and any restaurant, café, or food business (“Vendor”, “you”, “your”) that registers and operates on the Food Korabuy platform.

By registering as a Vendor on Food Korabuy, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Vendor Eligibility & Registration

To operate on Food Korabuy, you must:

  • Be a legally operating food business in Mozambique

  • Provide accurate and complete business information

  • Comply with all applicable food safety, hygiene, and business laws

  • Maintain valid licenses and permits required by local authorities

Food Korabuy reserves the right to approve, reject, or suspend vendor accounts at its discretion.

2. Vendor Responsibilities

As a Vendor, you agree to:

  • Keep menus, prices, availability, and images accurate and up to date

  • Prepare food in a hygienic and professional manner

  • Fulfill accepted orders promptly

  • Package food securely for delivery or pickup

  • Handle customer complaints professionally

Food Korabuy does not control food preparation or quality and is not responsible for vendor operations.

3. Orders & Acceptance

  • Orders are placed by customers through the platform

  • You may accept or reject orders based on availability

  • Once an order is accepted, it must be fulfilled

  • Frequent order cancellations may result in penalties or account suspension

4. Pricing & Commission

  • Vendors set their own menu prices

  • Food Korabuy may charge a commission or service fee per order

  • Commission rates will be communicated separately or agreed upon in writing

  • Food Korabuy reserves the right to update commission structures with prior notice

5. Payments & Settlements

  • Payments are collected via the platform’s payment system

  • Vendor payouts will be made according to the agreed settlement cycle

  • Vendors are responsible for their own taxes, VAT, and business obligations

  • Food Korabuy is not responsible for banking delays outside its control

6. Refunds & Disputes

  • Refunds may be issued for valid reasons such as incorrect or missing items

  • Food Korabuy may deduct approved refunds from vendor payouts

  • Vendors agree to cooperate in dispute investigations

  • Repeated customer complaints may lead to account review

7. Delivery

  • Delivery may be handled by vendors, third-party delivery partners, or Food Korabuy (if applicable)

  • Vendors must ensure food is ready on time for pickup

  • Delays caused by vendors may impact platform ratings and visibility

8. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

Vendors must:

  • Follow all Mozambican food safety and health regulations

  • Maintain clean kitchen and storage conditions

  • Clearly disclose allergens and ingredients where applicable

Food Korabuy reserves the right to suspend vendors violating safety standards.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Vendors grant Food Korabuy a non-exclusive license to use their business name, logo, menu, and images for marketing and platform display

  • Vendors confirm they own or have rights to all uploaded content

10. Ratings & Reviews

  • Customers may leave ratings and reviews

  • Vendors may not manipulate, fake, or incentivize reviews

  • Food Korabuy may remove fraudulent or abusive content

11. Suspension & Termination

Food Korabuy may suspend or terminate vendor accounts if:

  • False information is provided

  • Food safety violations occur

  • Excessive complaints or cancellations happen

  • These Terms are breached

Vendors may also request account termination with written notice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Food Korabuy is not liable for loss of profit, reputation, or business interruption

  • Food Korabuy does not guarantee order volume or revenue

  • Vendors operate as independent businesses, not employees or agents

13. Indemnification

Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Food Korabuy against claims arising from:

  • Food quality or safety issues

  • Legal violations

  • Customer disputes related to vendor operations

14. Amendments

Food Korabuy may update these Vendor Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Vendor Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mozambique.
